Guidance Counselor

Miss Aulbaugh holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Child Development from Erikson Institute, and a Master of Social Work in Social Work: Children and Families. Bridget Barber
Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Barber began her career as a Catholic school educator at St. Mary's 11 years ago. For 23 years prior to joining our faculty, Mrs. Barber was a parish CCD teacher, preparing second graders for the sacraments of First Penance and First Communion. Prior to a career in education, Mrs. Barber was a museum specialist at the National Portrait Gallery. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and European Studies from the University of San Diego.

Seventh Grade ILA Teacher

Mr. Baum holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Catholic University of America. Additionally, Mr. Baum holds VCEA certification in the state of Virginia.Mr. Baum's Teaching Philosophy: "I believe that you must be firm, but kind. My philosophy is tha the student will learn best when they are engaged in the classroom."

Seventh and Eighth Grade Science Teacher

Ms. Blaszkow has been a Catholic school educator for 26 years and has been at St. Mary's for 18 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a special interest in science, from the University of Delaware. Additionally, Ms. Blaszkow holds certification from the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA), and she is currently enrolled in coursework at Trinity University.

Senora Brophy has been a Catholic school educator for 6 years, and she is in her fourth year at St. Mary's. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from the University of Virginia. Prior to becoming an educator, Miss Brophy worked as an economist. Additionally, Miss Brophy holds certification from the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA).Miss Brophy's Teaching Philosophy: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
