Colin Casey t-shirt winner drawings entries

We are thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s Colin Casey T-Shirt Design Contest: John Farrand, a talented fifth grader whose design will be featured on the official Colin Casey Classic t-shirts! With over 70 creative submissions, the competition was tough. Congratulations to our impressive runners-up: Catherine Kangas (fifth grade) and Cecilia Wells (sixth grade) — well done!

The t-shirts are on sale now for $17 each—grab one while supplies last! Students who purchase a Colin Casey Classic shirt may wear it to school with their PE bottoms on game day, Thursday, May 15, at 5:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s gym.

The Colin Casey Classic is more than just a basketball game — it’s a beloved tradition that honors the memory of Colin Casey, son of retired St. Mary’s teacher Mary Casey and Michael Casey. Colin passed away on June 16, 1991, just days after graduating from eighth grade. He is remembered as a popular student, an exceptional scholar, and a gifted athlete. The Classic raises funds for the Colin Casey Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to Saint Mary’s families in need.

Come cheer on the action as eighth graders take on teachers, staff, parents, and priests in a fun-filled game for a great cause. Admission is $7 for students, $10 for adults, with a $30 family max.
