Every year on September 26, to coincide with the feast of twins Saints Cosmas and Damian, our annual Basilica School of Saint Mary tradition recognizes the sublime gift of being a twin. As a community, we are grateful to celebrate the unique bond that twins eternally share.

To commemorate the occasion this school year, Fr. Joseph Townsend from The Basilica of Saint Mary visited our twins in the school chapel, explained the significance of the feast day, and gave them a special blessing. All students present were attentive and remarked how special they felt on this annual day of recognition.

After the chapel celebration, our students gathered in the cafeteria for the tastiest part of the morning: cupcakes!
