FACTS

All payments are administered via the tuition payment service, FACTS Tuition Management Service, which adheres to stringent standards of security and confidentiality. It is imperative that all families complete the mandatory FACTS registration, irrespective of the payment method, including those opting for full payment by check.

Tuition Payment Information

FACTS processes monthly payments on either the 1st or 15th of each month through automatic electronic debits and transfers these payments to the school’s financial institution. Payments for the school year begin in June and end in May. 

FACTS payments can also be made by credit card; however, a convenience fee of approximately 2.95% applies. FACTS charges a fee of $55 annually, payable in June for monthly payments - this fee is waived for families on the one-time payment option paying in full in June. 

Request for delays in automatic payment withdrawal date must be emailed at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled FACTS withdrawal date and approved by the school principal. Please email rmalvaso@smsva.org with this request. 

Incidental Charges Payment Information

Please ensure that you enroll in AutoPay for billing of future incidental fees (milk, Extended Care, etc.). Double-check the financial account linked to your FACTS AutoPay to verify it is correct. Many families have more than one financial banking account in FACTS, so please select the correct account from which you want these incidental payments pulled. Late fees can be applied if you are not enrolled in AutoPay and miss a payment.

Delinquent Payments

If FACTS payments are unable to pull due to insufficient funds or an expired credit card, FACTS will re-attempt to pull approximately 15 days from the original payment date, and you may also be assessed a $30 returned payment fee for each attempt that is returned.
