FIRST Lego League
FIRST Lego League Robotics Team is available to 5th and 6th grade students.
FIRST is an acronym “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. FIRST (FLL) is an international Robotics program whose mission is to inspire a love for Science and Technology. Through participation in this program, students will learn STEM concepts by exploring real-world problems. They will also learn important core values such as teamwork and sharing. Every year, there is an exciting mission!
This year the mission is "Into Orbit."

Start Date: Monday, September 17 , running through November 12, 2018
Class Size: 10 students - Students must be committed to the FULL 9 week program. Students should have a strong interest in learning about engineering design, autonomy, sensors and the reuse of software for integration into an autonomous robot.
Duration: 9 weeks, meetings are held on Mondays and twice weekly as competition nears to complete projects
Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Location: Mr. Ellis's Computer Room #24
Cost: $75/student - used to pay for team shirts and defray the cost of registration

- Applications are accepted on a first-come-first serve basis. Maximum number accepted is 10 students.
