On January 19th, we hosted the Sisters of Life on our grounds to share about their work and life. Cardinal O’Conner founded the Sisters in 1991 in the Archdiocese of New York, and their charism is a particular devotion to the sanctity and beauty of human life. They shared a little about their life, and the children who met with them had great questions, asking about their names, the sports they played, how often they go to confession, whether they were happy with the life they had chosen, what continues to motivate them, and much more. In their brief time, they affirmed God's love for every human life and encouraged us to value that in our lives.
