Do you ever wish you had a “road map” to guide you and your family in maintaining a healthy balance between embracing the many advantages of technology while establishing the right boundaries to ensure your children’s wellbeing and safety?
Our “Developing Digital Resiliency” series is designed to provide support and education as you navigate this ever-changing landscape. Join us on Wednesday, February 19th, at 7 p.m. at the Basilica of Saint Mary Lyceum as we welcome guest speaker Dr. Michael Horne, Director of Clinical Services for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington.
Dr. Horne is the author of The Tech Talk: Strategies for Families in a Digital World (Our Sunday Visitor, 2017). He has presented on parenting, technology, and relationships across the United States, Canada, and the UK and has been a guest on EWTN Radio, Relevant Radio, and SiriusXM presenting on a variety of topics related to relationships, families and technology. Dr. Horne holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences.
Please let us know if you plan to attend the event here. Light refreshments will be provided. Note: this event is for parents only; while the topics are more targeted to parents of students in middle school, all parents are welcome to learn more about these important issues facing families today. Looking forward to seeing you!
