The Basilica School of Saint Mary's Learning Center was created to meet the individual learning needs of our students. The Learning Center staff is comprised of a resource/special education teacher, two reading resource teachers, a learning center coordinator/occupational therapist, an instructional coach, a resource aide, and two school counselors/clinical social workers. This staff provides a variety of services to students, working as a team with teachers and parents to create a program that will help individual students develop academically.
Mater Dei Options Program
Through our Catholic faith, The Basilica School of Saint Mary recognizes and celebrates the inherent dignity of all of our children and place them into the loving arms of Mary, the Mother of God. The Mater Dei program is designed to meet the needs of differently abled students who will learn and develop by accessing our modified curriculum, a unique adapted classroom, individualized educational plans, and dedicated faculty. The program will feature a self-contained, non-categorical classroom space and students will also be integrated into the larger community through the use of buddies, participation in the Catholic life of the school, and intentional educational and social activities with students and teachers outside of the program.
